Moshi-moshi & Arigatō = Hello & Thank You for taking
the time to e-visit our new 2010 web site.
Wolverhampton Youth Judo Centre (WYJC) is a not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) organised and run by an experienced 'Team' of Volunteers. All of our Coaches are fully qualified National Governing Body Coaches with full Criminal Records Bureau (CRB & ISA) Clearance and Certification. ALL of our Coaches are affiliated members of Sports Coach UK and Re-Validate their Coaching Qualifications each and every Year via the BJA Annual National Coaching Re-Validation Courses. This illustrates the commitment and dedication to providing high quality, safe and enjoyable judo coaching, teaching and training opportunities for ALL.
We are affiliated to the National Governing Body for the Sport of Judo in the UK which is the British Judo Association (Our BJA Club No. 4468). Our Mission Statement is simply 'Judo for All' and we strive to offer the very best in Judo Coaching and Practice to anyone who wishes to learn and practice the Olympic Sport of Judo. We are a very friendly and welcoming bunch at WYJC and look forward to seeing you at our Club soon.
We hope you find your e-visit to this site interesting, informative, stimulating and user-friendly. Just click onto any of the 'hyperlinks' on this page to find further information and details about WYJC, Our Partner Clubs and other judo related matters. Please feel free to visit us again soon. Please do not hesitate to 'contact us' for further details.
Since 2000 we have widened our coaching remit and work closely with local schools & colleges delivering 'Outreach Judo Sessions' linked to our Club as part of our 'Schools-2-Dojo' programme. Our Coaches also organise and run three other National Governing Body affiliated Judo Clubs in Partnership with WYJC & Ni-Co Coaching Partnership (check them out on our 'partner clubs' page).
